U.S. domestic business travel volume is anticipated to remain below pre-pandemic levels until 2026, with total business travel spending not expected to recover before 2028, according to a U.S. Travel Association forecast, revealing slower growth rates each year through 2027, in contrast to the more optimistic outlook provided by the Global Business Travel Association in August 2023.
